Weekly Club Notes by Owen Gribbin - 03/07/2017

Fundraising
Lotto numbers this week were 3, 17, 20, 21. With no winner the lucky dip went to Clodagh Gribbin and Clem McMullan. The jackpot is now £3200.

Football
Seniors travel to Ballymaguigan on Wed the 5th of July, throw in at 7:45.
Unlucky to Niall Keenan, who part of the Derry team which battled bravely against Mayo on Saturday.
Congratulations to our over 35s on winning the shield at the loup on Saturday beating Randalstown in the final 1-7 to 0-6. Aidan McElhone converted a penalty in the second half and Seamus Shivers put 4 between them with a majestic sideline with a minute left. Panel on the day Micky Gribbin (Capt), Marty O’Kane, Joe O’kane, Dara Shivers, Seamus Shivers, Ronan Shivers, Niall Shivers, John Mullholland, Seany Young, Aidan McElhone.
U18
The minors recorded a great win last Tuesday away in Claudy. Despite conceding a number of early goals the boys showed great spirit and attitude to come out victors by one point. They were due to play Limavady on Monday evening at home.

U16
The U16's lost out to a previously undefeated Moneymore team last Thursday. A number of early goals were the difference in the teams.

U14
The U14's defeated Newbridge last Tuesday evening by a point to set up a league decider against Steelstown. A fantastic achievement for everyone concerned. This will be played later in the summer due to player absence. The next competitive fixture will be Ballinderry in the championship.

U12
The U12 played a number of games recently against Banagher on Monday (away) and Swatragh/Greenlough last Saturday morning. The boys acquitted themselves very well. Well done to all concerned.

U10
Thanks to Ballinascreen for hosting Sunday's Go Games event. Castledawson played the home team plus Banagher.

U6
Thanks to Ballinderry for hosting our P1/2 boys last Wednesday. A great evening of football was had by all.

Camogie -
U6, U8 & U10 - Training Wednesday 6.30-7.30pm & Saturday 11-12noon.

U12 - Training Wednesday 7.30-8.30pm.

U14 - Training Monday 6.30-7.30pm.

U16 - Match vs Magherafelt Tuesday night, players to be at the pitch for 7.15pm.

Minor - Training this Sunday after senior training.

Senior - League game vs S'neil 2nds (Away) on Thursday.
