All roads lead to Swatragh on Sunday for the championship quarter final game v Ballymagium at 12:30pm.
Well done to the U8 team who won the Castledawson Cup on Friday evening when they defeated Moneyglass in the final. Bellaghy defeated Cargin in the Shield final. Thanks to all teams for coming along and particular thanks to everyone who helped out on Friday to make it a huge success.
The U10s travel on Saturday to Ballerin for their tournament. Thanks to them for the invitation.#
Best of luck to the minors in their championship opener v Callan Gaels on Monday night at 7pm at home.
Saturday morning saw our U14s come out victorious against a much fancied Banagher side. With each player winning their individual battles across the field and with some fine displays of hurling and ferocious tackling the lads got their reward for a fantastic season. This was the icing on the cake as this team has been in the Feile final and an All Ireland Feile semi final. Enda Mullan; Sean McOscar, John Connery, Tiarnan McOscar; Kealan Morgan, Dylan McGreevy, Conn McAllister; Paddy Craig, Richard Drain; Michael Campbell, Conor O'Hagan, Oran Bell; Eoin Kearney, Jamie Wilson, Oliver Lupari. Subs; Emmett Keenan, Joseph Keenan, Pearse Keenan, James McMullan, Callum McIvor, Tom McLarnon, Odhran McKenna. Final Score - Castledawson 4-06 Banagher 2-01. A special word must go to the players on their effort and commitment all season. A true credit to their club. Finally the management would like to thank all the players, parents and sponsors. Their commitment to the team this year has helped to ensure that we end this season on such a high.
Many thanks to Cathal McOscar for his brilliant photos of all teams in Castledawson this summer.
